Brief information about CRC
The main direction and goal of CRC is XEROX and CANON appliances like copiers, printers, faxes, scanners, photo- and video techniques, multifunctional devices, multimedia projectors sell and  service. This direction forms 75% of the companies’ volume. Also, CRC supports the market with consumables for the offices like toners, cartridges and high quality paper, suitable for any brand machine (Canon, Epson, Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, Xerox, Kyocera-Mita, Konica-Minolta). CRC is the only official distributor of the InkTec company in Latvia. IncTec provides ink, paper and toners for the most well known printer marks. It is worth mentioning, that CRC is cooperating with the German company Integral, with UK’s D.C.I. (better known on the market as Jettec), Singaporean Fullmark, French Armor and even Byelorussia’s Optitek. 45 people work in our company, 11 of them are service engineers. We are able to deliver Your purchase not only to a particular place in Riga, but also in any of the suburbs of Riga, Jurmala, Jelgava, Bauska and Tukums. In the further regions we have developed a bright net of co-operating partners, but if it is necessary, our service engineers are able to come even to Liepaja. 


The Beginning
CRC started its work in the end of 1993. It was a small shop in Riga in Dzirnavu Street. In the young, but ambitious company worked only 5 people, who already head experience in the marketing, servicing and repairing of office appliances. Showing exceptional results on the market and tremendously growing turnover, CRC got the right to become the member of CANON corporation representatives net. By this time CRC, who is active among more then 3000 clients, became the official partner of CANON. The high results were achieved because of two major reasons – the great teamwork and the impressive quality of the appliances produced by CANON. In 2001 CRC became a partner of Hewlett Packard in Latvia.

CANON
From 1994, the time when CRC became the official partner of Canon OY (today - Canon North - East OY) in Latvia, the amount of sold appliances had grown in ten fold. In 2001 CANON OY awarded CRC for the greatest rise of selling of the new and modern digital copiers among all distributors from the Baltic region. The reason of getting this award was the growth by more then 45% per year. Nowadays, CRC is the rightful distributor-partner of CANON with the authorized service, allowed to produce the repairing works.
The CANON Inc., with its central office in Tokyo (Japan), is one of the major digital technical equipment producers, which are suitable for the use in any area – both in the office and home. From the foundation time in 1937, the company CANON keeps its deserved place in the sphere of photo, video and information technologies. Also, it is trying to recommend itself on the market of IT technologies, offering valuable commercial solutions.
The year 2005 is important for CANON and all its groups because of the new five year long plan of achieving the goal of being leader in all spheres connected to the IT technologies. The CANON group includes 198 companies with the turnover more then 29 milliards dollars per year all around the world. The biggest selling amount refers to two production segments: printers and computer peripherals (34,1%) and copying machines (33,2%). 3, 9% are telecommunication equipment, 20,4% - photo and video cameras, but 5,1% are optics of the total amounts of realization. All CANON appliances differ because of its high quality, the use of the most modern technologies which suits the demand of modern customers.

XEROX
From august 2005 CRC has signed a service contract with XEROX which is doubtless known all around the world. Today we have the right and possibility to provide service to clients in Latvia, who bought XEROX appliances. Our engineers have completed the courses in XEROX training centre not only about the base technologies used in all products, but also about the high performance complicated and efficient digital XEROX machines. For example, XEROX DocuTech 6180, whose monthly printing amount might reach 4,5 million pages (that means that its speed is 180 pages per minute).
The history of XEROX starts almost 100 years ago. In 1906, in the United States of America was founded “Haloid Company”, which was producing photo paper. In 1947 this company got the right to produce machines which were invented by Chester Carlson. The process that is the base of the invention was called “xerography” (from the ancient Greek – “dry” and “writing”), but Carlson himself offered to call the appliance a “Xerox”. The first “Xerox” – Model A – was brought to the market in 1949, but 1961 “Haloid Company” was renamed. Now it was the commonly known “Xerox Corporation”. From its beginning the company has gone long ways to establish a revolution in the circulation of documents and papers. XEROX became the leading developer and producer of a high variety of appliances suitable for the processing of documents: high resolution full colour operative polygraphic printing systems, printing controllers, personal and office  laser printers, colour laser printers for working groups, multifunctional office systems, wide format engineering systems, scanners, faxes and copiers. XEROX is one of the biggest paper and consumables producers, who offers a high variety of printing matters.

Building
CRC is developing. In March 1995 was opened the first salon-shop in Riga (Latschplesha Street 56). This shop should be named the first CANON shop in Latvia with the full variety of products offered by the company, including photo and video appliances. In September 1996 is opening the second shop with a service centre (Kr. Valdemara Street 57/59). The first salon outside Riga was opened in Daugavpils in May 1999 (Alejas Street 76). The year 2000 brought the changes to the salon on Latschplesha Street which took grew as a service centre. At last, in May 2004, the company opened a new office building in Daugavpils Street 45. On four floors are placed service rooms, a volumetric warehouse, marketing department, conference hall, demonstrations hall, selling and handling departments. For clients, who wish to get their purchase directly from the logistics’ centre, is provided a comfortable parking place. You need only 3 minutes to reach our new warehouse and office from the city centre.

Service
There is high attention towards the quality, technical service and support level. The modern office appliances are produced on the base of high-tech decisions. To produce a full service programme we need special technologies, well prepared engineers, necessary technical documentation and stock, operative warehouse. One of the decisive factors is, which leads to the trust of customers, is the high level of preparation of the specialists and the organization of the working terms, which was polished during the last 10 years. Customers, who buy the technical equipment offered by CRC, can be sure about its precious working conditions. More then 10 years CRC service department gets modernized and improved. It is not only the perfection of the working conditions like the existence of the room, materials, documentation, transport necessary to produce the repair, but also training of the engineers, not only in Latvia, but also abroad. All the specialists, who work for the company enlarge their knowledge and polish their qualification in CANON institute Helsinki, studying centre XEROX in Moscow, take part at conventions in Riga. “Our country is going to become a member of the European Union and local companies have the possibility to enlarge the limits of the business. The company is in non-stop developing conditions, it tries to reach European level. The demand for the modern office technologies is more then ever. That is why we produce convenient service”, - says Igor Zavorin, the general director of the company.  
CRC has 12 cars, which ensures the fast repair and service at any time and place.

Financial Results and Achievements
The turnover of the company reached the level of 1 million lats in 2002, but in 2004 exceed 1 350 000 lats. “We have just worked all the time. We have never misjudges our abilities and choose real goals, that we reached on particular stages. Our starting resources were less then poor, but we tried always to keep the priority of investing more and more money in our company”, - says CRC director Oleg Kurkov. The services of CRC use many famous corporative clients, companies, banks, military and the governmental institutions.

Social Activities
From 1995 CRC is taking part at the social life. Our company follows the biggest sporting events and cultural activities. We are sponsors of the national Latvian football and hockey federations. We have given a hand of help to different championships and federations, as to the basketball league: sport clubs as “Rīdzene”, “Rīga”, handball federation, Jelgava tennis club, Jelgava skating hall, Jelgavas Gimnasium, Ozolnieku secondary school and many other organizations. Also, we have never rejected to help any school in need, for example we regularly give help to children and teenage centre “Daugmale”. Ourselves, we are very sporty people; regularly attend football, swimming and tennis lessons and competitions. CRC, under the flag of CANON, takes part at the decisive amateur football tournaments (the cup of “Бизнес&Балтия”, the cup of “Час” and so on). We have even an annual fishing festival that takes place any summer and we have founded a tennis tournament for clients and stuff called CRC Open in singles and mixed doubles. And even further, we are ready to help Latvian sportsmen and school in the limit of our possibilities.
